Deck Description

A Mizzet drapower deck I've had for a while. ^^

The lands in the sideboard is only if you want to really make the deck strong, they're just expensive.

Any suggestions/thoughts are welcome.

How to Play

The point of the deck is to get out psychosis crawler to win and use Silent Arbiter/control to keep you alive.
Mercurial Chemister are excellent to both draw loads of cards and help control the board.

Deck discussion for Mizzet Drawpower

Awesome Draw/Burn you´ve got here. Although I´m most a Black/Green player, I´ve always been a sucker for U/R :D

"Spellbook" could serve you as well as "Brainstorm" but I really like it the way it is.

Good job, sir, and a +1 from me =)

Thank you! :D This is how I have the deck at the moment. The only reason it's not legal in anythign but legacy is because of ponder. Whenever i find something to replace Ponder I'm going to keep it modern-legal and I'm pretty sure brainstorm isn't legal in modern. :) Currently I'm thinking of replacing ponder with Serum Visions.

I did think about spellbook, but I prefer using reliquary tower, because it's a land and doesn't take up space for other spells. ;)

If you wanna replace ponder, check out a card called Index.

That isn't such a bad card, I may actually consider it. Though I really like the ability to draw a card.

You deck does seem pretty nice. I just don't see any cards that would fit well into my deck. :) Though a nice job indeed!

Vapor Snag instead of Unsummon

I have tried Vapor Snag, but this deck has a lot of situations where you want to return your own creatures to your hand. I actually had Vapor Snag in the deck but it works better when I won't hurt myself returning my creatures to hand.

Have you considered Howling mine, and notion thief, and something like Dangerous Wager Lol

I have had Howling Mine in the deck, but as the deck is currently I won't have to let my opponent draw a card at any time during the game, which will work to my advantage.
Notion Thief is sadly not U/R. ;)
Dangerous Wager could be fun, but I prefer not discarding my hand of 5+ cards. ;)

LOL tamyo might work in your favor if that happened. xD I forgot to mention Omiscience and Enter the infinite, altho, the down fall to that is that cost so much >.< );

I have had it in the deck but I really prefer not going near-infinite with this deck. I've had my fair share of those kinds of combos, and I don't think they're all that fun anymore. :) Excellent synergies though are really amazing!
