Green. R/G is good put too risky in my opinion. Land destruction based on Myr Landshaper and Liquimetal Coating. Splinter for the land reap. Make target land an artifact and destroy it. With no lands no mana and no spells. Slowly go in for the kill! Check out my Red Version! Comments and suggestions please!

I like this idea a lot. Using Splinter to just absolutely screw your opponent is genius. It may be one of the nastiest combos I have heard of. You won't make many friends playing it but it would be worth it.

Nice deck, but if memory serves, I was the first person on this site to use Liquimetal + Splinter :p http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=111924 I fail to see why Llanowar Elves isn't in the mainboard :|
Yea Check out my Red version too.
Great deck, but I'd imagine a shock or a lightning bolt stops your elves from coming over, and thus winning. I'd take out 2 splinter (cost, and really effect since you're most likely make opponent's lands into artifacts and destroy them, you likely will not be able to capitalize on many copies) and put in two Terravore to add to winning condition later in the game, when your opponent GY'ed a bunch of lands.

nanoex1, Nice deck, but the 4 Mox Emerald's sort of puts the cost of the deck it out of reach for most gamers. The substitution of Lion's Eye Diamond for Mox Emerald unfortunately just doesn't do the job because you've got to discard your hand and most land destuct decks hate to discard cards from hand. Land Grant is the cheapest good substitute I can think of for the Mox Emerald. Adding threats like Thrun, the last Troll and Great Sable Stag at the expense of some of your non-splinter spells might make the deck stronger. Obviously Choke, Autumn's Veil, Insist should be in your sideboard.
