Deck Description

It's a Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't sort of choice.

How to Play

It will take some cunning, and a bit of mind games.
You probably want to play a lot of the hand disruption cards early,
also play cards make your opponent spend mana in the same turn
that you cast the pay mana or pay the consequences cards.
Late game, the non-creature permanents are quite punishing.

Ps. I'm sure there are more card like these out there, let me know the ones I missed in the comments.

Pps. Thanks for the suggestion, tweaked the deck a bit, and added a lot more mana,

Deck discussion for Bad Life Choices

Blood Clock, Curse Artifact, Flay, Insubordination, Isolation Cell, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Rhystic Cave, Sirocco, Umbilicus, are just a few more cards that offer choices. By the way, 20 land seems very low, and you have no mana fixing. On a budget, I'd say Akoum Refuge and Bloodfell Caves would be your best bet, with Temple of Malice, Dragonskull Summit, Foreboding Ruins, Lavaclaw Reaches, Shadowblood Ridge, Smoldering Marsh, or Tainted Peak as a little more expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tweaked the deck a bit as a result, and fixed the land quite a bit.

Indulgent Tormentor would be another good card for this deck.

Interesting concept for sure. It is fun to make your opponent choose between two sucky things with every card you play. Particularly when you can use them multiple times, like desecration demon or barbarian bully. Lol... I draw out you take damage. You sacrifice our pay life, out I get a larger creature. Very funny indeed.

That being said, I have been wondering... Why do you run 61 cards in every deck?

Lol. :). Hey, if it works... Don't mind me. :). That being said, discard and mill would be annoyed by the extra card. :)

Found it.
Theres a black counterspell, pay 5 life or spell is countered which might fit right in.
Can't remember the name, card was from around timespiral cycles, and alfred mentioned it recently.
Could be it's called dash Hope.
