Have you considered adding creatures whose power and toughness are the number of card in your hand ?
Example cards: Aeon Chronicler, Kagemaro, First to Suffer, Overbeing of Myth, & Sturmgeist.

Although it's thoroughly banned and very expensive
Shahrazad quite thoroughly fits the theme of this deck,
Because it's famous for dragging out games and forcing
your opponent to concede out of boredom.


Ps. Run Enchanted Evening with Sphere of Safety for ridiculous Creature lockdown.

Might be another good candidate for this deck.

If you should decide to main deck Oran-Rief, the Vastwood
maybe swap out Arbor Elf for Voyaging Satyr so you could get some extra counters out of vastwood.*
*(Voyaging Satyr untaps any land)

Oh, I recently made a deck that probably fits into this category.

The basic theme of the deck is that you let your opponent make a lot of choices
like do they let you draw 3 cards or will they take 5 damage instead,
or are they going to let me play a cheep powerful creature, or destroy one of their lands.
Lot of obscure and just plain weird cards in here.

You could splash white for Solemnity,
and then your Chronozoa would enter play with no vanishing counters,
so you would get free ones every time one died.

.... What is this again ?

Perhaps add a Rogue's Passage or two as a backup plan to make your first unblockable creature.
