Deck Description

Not your ordinary Sliver deck!

When is the last time you beat your opponent(s) with your Sliver LANDS? Yes, that's right - this deck is designed to turn your lands into Slivers as well!

Kormus Bell turns your swamps into 1/1 creatures, Hivestone gives Sliver type to all your creatures - including Swamps - as do one of the three Xenograft enchantments. Blanket of Night gives your non-Swamp lands the Swamp type, meaning ALL lands in play are 1/1 creatures. Yours, however, are also Slivers!

NOTE: This deck needs a couple more Blanket of Night cards.

How to Play

Tutor for Blanket of Night, since there's only one in the deck currently.

Wait to play Hivestone and/or Xenograft until turn 5 or 6. THEN play a Kormus Bell UNLESS you have Elesh Norn out, then play Kormus as quickly as possible, destroying your opponent(s) Swamps. If you are able to have Blanket of Night out at the same time, the only person with land will be you unless your opponent(s) can buff up their lands.

When you have the only lands and they're also Slivers, chances are you are not gonna lose.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While Kormus Bell does make Swamps 1/1 creatures (and Blanket of Night makes all lands Swamps too), Coat of Arms does NOT trigger for your opponents unless they are able to give those lands a creature TYPE. This is because Kormus Bell doesn't give a type to the Swamp creatures! Conversely, this also means that those Swamps are immune to being included in cards and effects that affect "creatures that share a type". Thankfully, those fairly uncommon.
