Deck Description

The reason this deck isn't "Vintage" or "Modern" is because of the Brainstorm, It' only giving me Pre-8th edition versions, but the Commander version is legal, and the same price. With that, it is legal in modern.
However, even then, it is restricted in Vintage, which is why it says no.

Budget Decks are Hard. Under $50 is a challenge. However, take the price tag with a grain of Salt, as MTGVault added $7.20 for the 12 Islands, whereas the Forests were free. But regardless, 4 Descendant's Path was still $7.92. Brainstorm was pretty pricey too. But both are needed. Quite an ouch to the wallet when it's squeezed so tight anyways.

First off, let me state for the record that Haazda and Hired Torturer are there to prove a point. They are not actually part of the deck. In fact, they kinda suck.

Regardless, The whole point is to use the Changeling power with Descendant's Edge to send out any creature card.

Augury Owl and Forsee allow you to predict your creatures coming up, and try and get Descendant's and Changelings faster...
Brainstorm is if you have that creature in your hand, or need to stir things up a bit.
A small amount of mana ramp is designed as a "just in case" and allows you to be able to not worry about drawing Islands and Forests.
2 dispels are also put in as a just in case. Don't want someone F-ing everything up with a counterspell

How to Play

Look it's easy, get out a changeling, get out Descendant's.
Easier said than done, I know.

However, that's when things get fun.

Right now I have 4 Haazda and 4 Hired Torturer. Ignore them.
Think of it instead as 8 creature slots.
Put any creature in. I personally reccomend Yosei, Emrakul, Ulamog, Iona, Sun Titan, Terrastodon, Forgotten Ancient, Darksteel Colossus, Baneslayer Angel, Progenitus, Platinum Angel, Slivers, Cascaders, Controllers, Sackers.
Listen, the point I'm trying to make is that at this point, color and cost no longer matter, it's literally anything, which is the best part. Pick the best 8 creatures you have! It's totally free! (kinda...)

Which reminds me, Why Haazda and Hired Torturer?
Becasue they're $0.70, the average price of a creature.
You're saving $5.60 by picking your own monsters, and $7.20 through your own islands, for a grand total savings of $12.80 off of that green price tag!

That's what makes this a budget Deck. TCGPlayer gave me the price at $22.21.

Deck discussion for Budget Big Creatures

The reason it says it isn't legal in modern is because of the Brainstorm. The Izzet vs Golgari set is legal, and costs the same, more or less.
