Yeah, Brave the Elements was an idea, but I think that it's not super effective given that most of the creatures I'll be enchanting aren't actually white.

I'd recommend Ready / Willing over the Rootborn defenses, probably. Rootborn rules when you have a Wurm, but the untap from ready is way more helpful when you're playing aggro. Seconding Brave the Elements. Perhaps add two for an Experiment One and a Forest?
Celestial Flare could probably help with your Stormbreath problem. Would help with Blood Barons and any other giant attackers (like bloodrushed creatures, surprise giants in R/G monsters, etc.)
Some ideas if you're not trying to go modern: Blistering Firecat. If you are: Hell's Thunder, Thunderblust.
Yeah, I was kind of toying with that idea. Trying to figure out what I'd remove. Might ax 2 of the Advent's since I also have the eidolon's to bestow on the 4 of my curve, same with the Boon Satyr if I have a Hero of Iroas out.
Couldn't agree more!
Brave the Elements is GREAT in this deck, as it lets you play more aggressively. Give all your dudes protection from whatever the other players' creatures are and make them unblockable. Also helps keep your dudes alive against some annoying spot removal. Sucks if someone doomblades your heroic double-striker you just bestowed with a Hopeful Eidolon or something.
So, is the strategy to ramp to garruk and overload? Also, Green + White + Blue is called "Bant" if you wanted to spruce up the name of your deck. :)Anyhow, if I'm correct on the strategy, seems that some card draw would be massively helpful. Might I suggest some divination against faster decks so you don't plateau with no cards in hand?
Ditch the Ghostblade Eidolon for Ethereal Armor and I think you'll be onto something! Also, they're expensive, but Brimaz would work very well here too since it has great synergy with the Eidolon of Countless battles and is a really huge threat.
Yeah, I tend to agree with this. There's pretty limited burn, and the win con seems to be swinging in with an unblockable creature pumped with scry--something that can pretty easily be removed by Doom Blade, Azorious Charm, burn or whatever else. Someone could easily chump until they pull it off the board. Seems like you need a very solid plan B against burn, black decks and control decks. Thassa's Unblockable activated ability may be quite valuable in this deck, since you're banking on getting that pump dude through.
Isochron Scepter is definitely not standard legal. Standard is the most recent two blocks and the latest core set. Currently that is:Return to RavnicaGatecrashDragon's MazeM14TherosBorn of the GodsNormally when a block/core set cycles out there is some overlap to the next set so players can transition.
I second the idea of going bant. Get rid of the elixers, put in more elspeths and gideons. Detention Sphere is super useful, as well as a couple counterspells. Pull out the silences. Spirit of the Lab is more of a sideboard card since most decks don't have a ton of card draw. Sphinx's revelation is also a must if you're playing U/W. You might be a touch overkill on the god effects right now, as well. But, as it stands, this is a very solid deck for G/W turbofog. Just ticky to have so few win cons.
Here's my entry? http://www.mtgvault.com/munsonthedestroyer/decks/yoked-ox-challenge/
Yeah, seconding this one. You should just swap Progenitus for Child of Alara, then you'd have yourself a really baller EDH deck.
It seems to me like all that ramp is going to waste. You can't tutor for much, and your X costs are pretty limited. Some things you might want to look at as aces in the hole: Clan DefianceSavageborn HydraApocalypse HydraProtean HydraStrength of the TajuruUntamed Might
I second this, you've got crazy ramp so paying six+ for this would be super easy. I think it's more of a sideboard swap depending on the deck you're against, though. I'd also recommend Mizzium Mortars over Bonfire, potentially.
This deck is terrifying.
Worldspire Worms! Teska's Dragons! Demon of Death's Gate! Avatar of Slaughter! Griselbrand! Lorthos, the Tidemaker! Platinum Emperion! Scion of Darkness! Sundering Titan! Woodfall Primus!Man, there are so many fun cards you could put in this deck.
Really cool deck idea! I would recommend sideboarding some other removal in case you run up against a black deck and eventually investing in the shock lands.
It might also be worthwhile to grab a couple dragonskull summit until october, they're pretty cheap. That'll give you more mana flexibility. They're still going to be useful in other formats outside of standard when they rotate out anyhow.
