Deck Description

Legality:
Standard, built with cards from the blocks Kaladesh (Kaladesh, Aether Revolt) and Shadows over Innistrad (Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon)

Idea:
This deck started with finding a Solemn Recruit in one of my boosters. I also found Implement of Ferocity in another and had the idea for a new standard deck.

Building it:
4 Solemn Recruit and 4 Implement of Ferocity where set from the beginning as they where to be the core of the deck. A quick search for the new Revolt mechanic and I could add 3 Call for Unity (Only 3 because of the high mana-costs. I'm not entirely sure if this card will work out as I had thought), 4 Greenwheel Liberator, 4 Hidden Herbalists and 3 Renegade Rallier. I though of adding 1-3 Lifecraft Cavalry but this one was too expensive and I needed some space for expendable creatures/ cards that would activate Revolt.
So the next step was to search for such creatures. The first one I added where 3 Treasure Keeper as he would speed up play and be expendable after that. Renegade Map came into my mind but that would only slow down the deck so I searched for other ways. 3 Angelic Purge where added as removal, 4 Thraben Inspector because of the investigate mechanic and last 3 Conviction. The last thing I wanted to ad was some protection so 1 Heroic Intervention and 2 Blossoming Defense found it's way into this deck. 1 Haunted Cloak, and 3 sideboard, to get some trample and 4 Fortified Village where the last cards I wanted in to stabilize the mana-base a little bit.
Decommission was added to the sideboard tough I had another, cheaper, card in mind that I wanted to search later. I found Fragmentize rather quickly and decided to make a 3/2 mix in the sideboard because I think (I don't know the meta) that artifacts and artefact creatures will be something to worry about at the moment.

Tests:
Tough I own many of those card this deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

Basically this deck celebrates what is a rather common tactic: Attack first and play creatures/ spells in your second mainphase. When one of your creatures dies during this attack you can play your Revolt spells right away. If not you still can sacrifice the Invest-Token from Thraben Inspector, sacrifice Implement of Ferocity or return Conviction to your hand. The Revolt mechanic doesn't require the card you want to play to be on the stack or in play at that moment but counts for the whole turn, so no need to hurry.
Tough powerful and fast this deck struggles against swarm-decks that easily block away it's damage. In such cases board Haunted Cloak from the sideboard against Conviction or Angelic Purge.

Deck discussion for W/G Standard: Revolt

I've been brewing my own Revolt inspired deck, though mine has a Servo sub theme. I went Red White because of a successful match at the Prerelease where the monkey of Kari Zev, Skyship Raider triggered Solemn Recruit's Revolt every turn. I must thank you for reminding me of Treasure Keeper, which I feel will work slightly better in my build as I plan on running Ravenous Intruder and Pia Nalaar to sacrifice artifacts to trigger Revolt.

Personally I'm no big fan of those 1/1 tokens without ability as I think that the cards that produce them a are (nearly) all to expensive to play...which might come from my inexperience with standard-decks. From what I have heard those decks tend to be slower than their modern counterparts, but my mind tells me "to slow" most of the time.
Kari Zev, Skyship Raider was one of the cards I also noticed but I already had G and W as colours and I didn't want to add a 3rd colour, so maybe for the next deck then.

Standard is significantly slower than Modern at the moment. It the reason why my Boros "Control" deck is doing so well, despite running 12 cards with a cmc of 5 or more (7 of which are cmc 6).

The Servos have two major roles, besides triggering Revolt when they die. First is fuel for Ravenous Intruder, and the second is to take advantage of Call for Unity (my build tends to not have many bodies on the battlefield).

GW is probably the best dual colour to go with Revolt, mostly because of the options. Black is mostly likely the best colour to splash into (*cough*Fatal Push*cough*). I'm merely using red as a reliable Revolt trigger, and to use "Monkey Lady" (Kari Zev) which was my prerelease dated foil. Going a 3rd colour almost demands the fast duels and a full set of Evolving Wilds.

Just stumbled across a creature that could work well in a deck that relies on creatures leaving the battlefield to trigger Revolt: Ninth Bridge Patrol.

I Like the deck and it's idea. Have been thinking of similar and maybe I'll grab some idea out of yours :)

I might add some Implement of Improvement's in for some more trigger possibility of revolt. In my opinion your deck currently runs a bit thin on triggering revolt itself and relies more on opponent induced removal via spells or creatures. Maybe some opposing decks might require a bit tweaking to self sustain and control revolt triggers at least in sideboard?

Aethergeode Miner is a good Revolt trigger. Attack to self flicker. Similarly, if you're playing red in your Revolt deck, Kari Zev's monkey triggers Revolt too.

I never even had considered Kari Zev's monkey before. It really does trigger revolt. Also Conviction in this deck is great as you can easily control it. That did not occur to my mind before either. Great cards for revolt mechanics. Ninth Bridge Patrol is also nice as it benefits from same things that trigger revolt so there's a good synergy.

Note about Ninth Bridge Patrol: it only triggers for creatures leaving the battlefield. Revolt triggers for any permanent leaving the battlefield. Including Ninth Bridge Patrol requires a good amount / all your planned triggers to be creatures.

I will put 4 Ninth Bridge Patrol into the sideboard for now, but it's real evaluation will have to wait until I had the chance to test this deck (or get a report from someone other who runs a similar deck ;) )

I'm seriously considering a Boros / Naya Revolt build. Aethergeode Miner + Kari Zev almost guarantees Revolt and Ninth Bridge Patrol every time it's your combat. Harnessed Lightning helps Aethergeode outside of combat. And Renegade Rallier can return both Kari Zev and Aethergeode from the graveyard to the battlefield.

Also a nice card for this kind of deck, not necessarily to this particular but in general: Aid from the Cowl. It get's you a nice bonus at end step to cast without mana cost some additional spell. Especially if deck is heavy with permanents instead of instants or sorceries it gets better.
