[u]Basic Idea[/u]I wanted to create a rather fast deck that focuses on auras/ enchantments and fast (possible hexproof) creatures. I already had my G/W pauper enchantment deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/muktol/decks/wg-pauper-enchantment/), which is more ore less standard enchantments, so this time I wanted to try another colour combination. After discovering "Edge of the Divinity" the decision was made rather quick to go for B/W. [u]Tests[/u]I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
This deck differs from the "standard" W/G boggles enchantment decks as it doesn't have anything that has hexproof. [[Hyena Umbra]] and [[Skeletal Grimace]] still can prevent your creatures from dying. On the creature-side [[Mourning Thrull]] should be mentioned as important creature, as it helps you to stay alive with it's lifelink. A combination with [[Edge of the Divinity]] means a 4/4 flying with lifelink, which is bad news for your opponent in pauper. [[Boot Nipper]] brings a little bit of versatiliy to the deck, a combination of deathtouch-counter with [[Ethereal Armor]]/ [[Hyena Umbra]] makes it a living removal for anything dumb enough to attack, while it can help you to stay alive with a lifelink-counter. The only drawback is that it is not a good target for [[Edge of the Divinity]].
