"Life Gain" refers to a Magic deck archetype in which a player increases their own life total, often with the goal of turning their own large life total into a resource that can be wielded to defeat their opponents. This deck is all about gaining life and leeching life from your opponent. [[Soul Warden]] gains you life whenever a creature enters the battlefield...not only yours, but also your opponents, [[Lunarch Veteran]] gives you 1 life for each of your creatures entering. [[Drana's Emissary]] supports this by draining 1 life from your opponnet, transferring it to you, at the beginning of your upkeep, without even having to attack.[[Ajani's Pridemate]] and [[Gideon's Company]] are the big winners from you gaining life, as they get +1/+1 counters, each time, you gain life. [[Marauding Blight-Priest]] furthermore converts life into pain for your opponent.
