No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I read an article about the 8-rack deck using B/R.
Tough I dislike discard, at least when playing against it or playing with it against friends, I gave it a look. I didn't like the red draw/ discard part and so I began to look for alternatives which I found rather fast in blue cards.

This deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

This deck relies on effects from "The Rack", "Liliana's Caress" and "Megrim" to win the game. "Waste Not" has been added recently to give it a second win option. I decided against using "Bloodchief Ascension" as I didn't want to wait 3 rounds to get it working.

The key to surviving is discarding your opponent and playing as many of your cards to benefit from "Ensnaring Bridge"'s effect. To make sure that you can further discard your opponent when all your spells are used I added "Scepter of Fugue".
Cards like "Wistful Thinking" can really ruin your opponents day when combined with "Liliana's Caress", "Megrim" or "Waste Not".

Deck discussion for U/B Control: Discard

Maybe add Brainstorm for drawing cards. Also love Undermine and Recoil for this deck.

I use Careful Consideration instead of Brainstorm if I need cards. The problem is, that I want to stay within modern limitations, and all those cards are vintage/ legacy.
