Deck Description

[u]Basic Idea[/u]
Finally there is a pauper substitite for [[Ajani's Pridemate]]: [[Celestial Unicorn]] has arrived! As I really loved the life-gain strategy using the Pridemate it was logical for me to build a pauper deck using the unicorn. The deck is based on my pauper soul sisters, but doesn't include the [[Midnight Guard]] combo because I didn't want to add green as second colour.

[u]Tests[/u]
I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask.

I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

The problem here is to know when to hold back some cards to get the maximum effect out of [[Celestial Unicorn]].
[[Soul Warden]] and [[Soul's Attendant]] can be safely played at the beginning and will give you some life to help you survive the early stages. [[Healer's Hawk]] and [[Raise the Alarm]] should be hold back, unless necessary to survive, until [[Celestial Unicorn]] hits the board. From this moment on things will get ugly for your opponent fast.
