Basic IdeaThis deck is intended for first-time players. To make a beginner friendly deck I decide to keep the deck extra simple, so that the new player can focus on getting to know the rules, tactics and understanding what's going on.I first wanted to build a hammer-time deck, but most of the cards that make the core of this deck are way to expensive. The big difference between a normal equipment deck and a hammer-time deck is that the hammer decks can generate an enormous card value, while the normal equipment decks rely on what they have at the start, and have very few additional draws. Cardpool and BudgetMass-strengthening-effects (+x/+x to all creatures) and cards with multiple effects are not allowed. Lands are limited to Common's and Uncommon's, no Rare's or Mythic's. Other cards are limited to Common's, Uncommon's and 1 Rare (max. 4 copies) per deck, no Mythic's.The overall budget should be between 15 to 20$. (Estimated mid value).TestsI have tested this deck against other beginner decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
Your main goal is to get a good creature in the battlefield, attach some equipment to it, and attack your opponent. [[Kor Outfitter]] should be hold back until you have a [[Colossus Hammer]] on the battlefield, as this is the only equipment with an expensive equip ability in this deck. Just remember that when you equip [[Colossus Hammer]] on a creature with flying, it looses flying.
