Basic IdeaLike so many decks, this one started with a card from the random card generator at Scryfall (https://scryfall.com/random): [[Deathknell Berserker]]TestsI have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask. Conclusions from the testsWhen the deck works, it's funny to see your opponents face. He blocks a 1/1 [[Nested Shambler]], but suddenly looses his own creature and has some Saproling Tokens against him. The problem here is continuity and the loss of element of surprise. After the first time he either removes the creature when you don't have free mana, or simply lets slip those 1-3 damage and counterattacks with a string punch. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
Play creatures and keep them away from your graveyard by providing them with quasi-undying. Two of the creatures in this deck gain you an advantage when dying, the rest simply likes to not die. Some gain you additional benefits, while others are only an annoyance for your opponent. With 10 undying spells in the deck you should always be able to stop an important creature of yours from dying.
