Riku walked through the huge forest. "There is a huge amount of energy stored here that will help us" he muttered and started to summon a great beast. His twin brother emerged from the shadows behind him. "So let's use it properly, why shall we be pleased with a single creature when we can have two of it". They grinned, grabbed their hands and the spell began to transform, forming now two creatures instead of one. I wanted to buy the "Mirror Mastery" deck (http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/732) deck from our local store, after I started playing commander with a different deck. Sadly they where already out of stock. So I crunched in the cards to print them as proxis and did some testgames. This is my version of this deck and it keeps evolving with almost every new commanderdeck I look into, and with every game I take. I own most of those cards, use the rest as proxys, and have played the deck on many occasions. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to further improve this deck.
Beatdown deck, built around Rikus ability to copy every nontoken- creature entering the battlefield. Riku can copy (nearly) every creature you play and every spell you play. Though he has a rather weak body I didn't add artifacts (or other spells) to protect him as there should be enough ramp in this deck to cast him when you need it.Ramp: Chromatic Lantern, Sol Ring, Burnished Hart, Solemn Simulacrum, Mana Reflection, Harrow, Cultivate, Explore, Explosive Vegetation, Far Wanderings, Kodama's Reach and Search for TomorrowNearly every creature can be copied (save Kiki-Jiki and Nin) and you benefit from every singe copy you get. On one hand there are strong enter the battefield effects, on the other hand creatures like Artisan of Kozilek just don't need a ETB effect to make them strong. Doubling Season and Parallel Lives allows you to bring +1 token per copy into play, devastating with e.g. Woodfall Primus or Acidic SlimeThe rest of the spells is support: Carddraw, removal, mass removal, counterspells and some things to ease your life aka decrease or remove the casting costs from spells and creatures.Interesting cards to look at:DecimateMaelstrom Wanderer
