The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

The original decklist can be found under http://magic.wizards.com/en/products/card-set-archive/commander-2014/sworn-to-darknessAt last I had the chance of playing this deck and found that I didn't really like it because it had strong creatures but was way to slow. So I wanted to see what I could do to change that. After looking at the list I found that I had very few things where I could say "This doesn't work for me" and only some few where I was unsure about. Maybe I had just bad luck when I played this deck for the first time. Changes made:-1 Morkrut Banshee ...I'd rather use some more mass-removal here. -1 Bad Moon ...I prefer cards that only strengthen your own creatures and not all black on the table. -3 Swamp+1 Bloodchief Ascension ...with all those mass-removals flying around in commander this is just perfect. +1 Thief of Blood ...tough he can kill your own commander he can be a strong creature especially when others also play planeswalkers as commanders or someone play with many +1/+1 counters. +1 Exquisite Blood ...to stay alive a little bit longer. +1 Reliquary Tower ...to keep all those cards we could draw. Other possible cards:Crypt Incursion/ Ghastly Conscription ...for removing creatures from an opponents graveyard. Champion of Stray SoulsCards I'm unsure about:Demon of Wailing Agonies ...On the one hand he can be a strong, cheap creature when your commander is out. The only problem I have is that your commander has to be on the field, which can be difficult in multiplayer games. Also his ability which forces your opponent to sacrifice one of his creatures might sound greater than it is as players normally have enough expandable creatures on the field. Evernight Shade/ Nantuko Shade ...without evasion his ability is great for defence if you happen to have enough free mana. In offensive he can easily be blocked by a 1/1 token and have no effect.
It's very hard to give a proper 'how to play' for commander as normaly not 2 games tend to be the same.To play Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath is always a tricky thing as you want some creatures out to protect him and not get destroyed in an instant. His +2 ability allows you to stay alive a little bit longer than your opponents. His -8 ability provides you with further lifegain and, more important, carddraw. In the one match I could play with him I never used his -2 ability because it would have made it more difficult for me to keep him in play.
