ok heres how the combo works; turn one play hankyu or a creature that cost one ,turn two play condordant crossroads and a creature (if you have it), turn three play gilder bairn ,turn four play citanul hierophants or life and limb ,and turn 5 play saproling burst and if every thing is still on the field thats game.

I dont entirely get this deck... On turn 3 are you supposed to equip hankyu to Glider Bairn or what? I could see how the sparoling production loops back around to produce a lot of mana, but 7 lands on turn 3 is impossible if you follow that strategy. I could see it working a little later in the game with many more saproling tokens/forests out and being able to tap them to keep tapping and untapping Glider Bairn with Hankyu, otherwise it doesnt seem very plausible. It effectiveley doubles the tokens every turn. That would potentially eliminate the need for Concordant Crossroads as well. (Only if you play Biarn on the 3rd turn, of course. But even so, you would need a whopping 7 lands to equip Hankyu and play Bairn on the same turn to pull off a combo like that. Not to mention Bairns ability cost.) I see a lot of combos that you could pull off with this deck, but not the one in particular that you mentioned.

no you equiped hankyu on turn 5. by removing several fade counters from saproling burst and using them as mana equip hankyu.
I don't know if you can get a hold of these cards, as they are pretty darn old, but thalid devourers and Thalids are great for saprolings. Necrogenisis and Night Soil are also very good. Sprout swarms with all the saprolings=massive saprolings:):)
