The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I'm a big fan of discarding. My first full deck in MTG focused solely on Megrim and Liliana's Caress with Burning Inquiry and what not. Of course, being that it was for casual play, I obviously used the expected Dark Rituals and regular "Shocker" creature with Fire Whip and of course the classic full play-set of Hymn to Tourach, but I thought about playing at the card shop here on this island and found that Legacy and Vintage wasn't all too popular. There was Standard of course on FNM, but there was also a Modern Tournament in the middle of the week. Being that Modern gave more variety than Standard ever could, I chose to make this deck to be able to play in those Modern tourneys. Tre' Chic.
Discarding is obviously the main focus. With Megrim and Liliana's Caress, just play some Burning Inquiry or the other discard spells for some damage/life-loss. With the creatures, Barbed Shocker can give you the attacking version of a single-opponent-wheel of fortune effect, and add to it Power of Fire and you just need to tap em. Abyssal Nocturnis can be a power hitter with all the discard going on, especially with the Fear factor. Wheel of Fate, although with a Suspend 4, can provide a fresh hand, discarding, and a load of new spells to cast, all on the same turn, as well as pumping up Abyssal Nocturnis. Quest for the Nihil Stone can potentially help, especially since an opponent may not want his/her hands full of cardsfor fear of discarding anyways, but they wouldn't want no cards in their hands if they see Quest for the Nihil Stone on the battlefield. I know Underworld Dreams isn't in here and I have dabbled with it, but when I tested the deck out, it just didn't mesh well. Maybe it was me, or maybe I just didn't draw a good hand, I dunno...
