Just a suggestion, but don't have any version of Nicol Bolas in your deck. He's a good card, but your deck isn't suited to get him out. You are runnimg with 17 Swamps, which give only black mana. The possibilities of getting out your Crumbling necropolis to cast Nicol Bolas is very unlikely, so that should be pulled out. Instead of trying to focus on multiple elements, attempt to stick with one color of mana, two at the most. You should also cut out the Sedraxis Specter. A lot of your deck has to do with getting your opponent to discard their hand and to keep their hand empty. So it seems like you're deck is more for milling than to support Liliana Vess. A lot of your cards are going to be cast a few turns down the road, but too late to prevent cards that use lots of smaller creatures. I've beaten several opponents because their deck relies on higher costing cards, and I was able to storm them quickly with smaller monsters. I'm going to make some suggestions for changes in this deck. You don't have to follow them, and they might not by the greatest suggestions, but it should help. First and foremost remove Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Nicol Bolas. They cost way to much and aren't going to be especially useful until later in the game, which might never come. This also means that the cards used to support this venture should be removed also. This means good-bye to Obelisk of Grixis, Sedraxis Specter, Crumbling necropolis, Manamorphose and Mindculling. Nyxathid is also a good card, but it has lots of risks with it, and it doesn't give you much card advantage. Instead of having Nyxathid, you might be interested in getting Sengir Vampire from Core pack 2012. Sengir has flying, costs 5 total mana (3BB) and evertime he damages a creature and that creature dies the same turn, he gains 1/1. Progresive, rether then digressive. It seems that you are trying to keep your opponent out of cards in their hand, som some other cards that you might want to add into your deck are duress or distress. Duress costs B, allows you to see your opponent's hand, then allows you to pick a card that your opponent discards. Distress is the same thing, but with a cost of BB instead. You might want to use these instead of Mind sludge. Another addition would be to add creature removal. Doom Blade is very affective at this, unless your opponent is also running a mono-black deck. Also, smallpox might work good for you too. Smallpox costs BB and causes each player to lose one life, one card from their hand, a creature on the field, and one land. This can be very affective against and opponent, but beware that this spell also harms you. So the cards to remove are: 4 Obelisk of Grixis 4 Nyxathid 4 Sedraxis Specter 1 Nicol Bolas 1 Painful Quandary 1 Pyromancer Ascension 4 crumbling Necropolis 1 Nicol Bolas Planeswalker 4 manamorphose 1 mind sludge 1 mindculling Things to add: 5 Swamps 2 Sengir Vampire 4 Guul Draz Vampire 4 Duress 4 Doom Blade 2 Smallpox 1 Sangomancer 2 Liliana's Specter Hope this helps and isn't to over the top or in the wrong direction for you!

You do make valid points on everything, and I have to agree with you. Nicol Bolas taken out along with anything else making this a mono color deck would help the mana curve, not to metion make room for cards that would help, maybe with the cards coming out in Innistrad this could get some more power, though instead of Doom blade, I would use Geth's Verdict, same CMC but isn't color oriented, and throw doom blade in the side-board, Thanks for the suggestions, helped out alot.
