Sweet deck man +1 from me! I would suggest replacing murder with Thoughtsieze or Inquisition of Kozilek. Song of the Dryads is also worth considering, it can deal with Obliterators or other nasty things quite effectively. Not to mention giving a bit of help towards your forestwalk when it becomes relevant.

A couple of things I'm gonna nitpick you on...
You've got Essence Warden in there for lifegain, with no practical way of making elf tokens to maximize value. Why not run Wellwisher instead?
Another thing: you've got two playsets of legendary creatures in there. While I can see why you would want to run four, you may find it to hinder you more than it helps you. It's very likely to run into more than one copy in a game, leaving you with a dead card in your hand.
You're also going to need more mana fixing if you want to play Thoughtseize on turn one, and be able to play your double green/double black creatures on time.

I don't like it yet, but I could (:

Change Heros Downfall and Llanowar Dead to Maelstrom Pulse and another Mana Guy (Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, maybe Quirion Elves for black mana).
Eyeblights Ending is fun for the theme, but maybe putrefy or abrupt decay are better. Black-Green has very good removal in general.

Lands to consider:
- Overgrown Tomb
- Verdant Catacomb
- the new +1 life from khans dual

Looks like a nice aggro-control deck

drop 2 eldamri and add 2 glissa, the traitor id also use go for the throat over hero's downfall since its faster and putrefy over eyeblights.
I made this b/g elf deck awhile ago you should look at it

why glissa? cuz she has 3 cmc? her triggered ability is useless in this deck

0
Posted 28 December 2014 at 18:48

ya i agree with socialithurts this deck purpose is to get elves and get +1/+1 counters and gain forestwalk, just in case you have removal spells. glissa would mostly fit in a B/G graveyard matter deck

0

There is an elf cmc2 1/1 that tutors for an elf when it dies... that could be good. Probs better than Glissa

Don't ask...or they will flood you with deck ideas.
I just challenged people and I am on my 5th or 6th deck as we speak.

You want a challenge?

Make the best deck you can using all 3 of these expansions:
Urza's Destiny, Return to Ravnica, and Scourge.

Good luck.

Eladamri, Lord of Leaves + Nylea's Presence = All of your creatures being unblockable.

0
Posted 28 December 2014 at 21:57

WOW!!!!! i havent thought about that

0
Posted 29 December 2014 at 16:53

This is why I suggested Song of the Dryads which would have more versatility then Nyle's Presence. Not to mention puts your opponent out of a land of their need if not running green.

0
Posted 29 December 2014 at 22:13

I think Song of the Dryads is a good option, as well. However, Nylea's Presence costs 1 less, and allows you to draw a card.

0

12 creatures which produce mana and the potential to deal with any permanent on the battlefield I'm fairly confident the 1 extra won't be an issue in most match ups. Just my thoughts tho.

0

I'm not discounting the effectiveness of the card; It will definitely do the trick. I just think that the lower cost, and the card draw might help a little bit more. On the other hand, Song of the Dryads won't allow their land to tap for any color mana. Sadly, Nylea's Presence has the potential to help them. In any case, they'll have a bunch of unblockable creatures to deal with!!

1

Indeed, I suppose they each have a spot in the SB.

song of the dryads is seeing alot of play. its the only real green removal spell. "nice tarmogoyf, its a tree now"

0

yes i am playing this deck in legacy

1
Posted 29 December 2014 at 16:52

i think i would run abrupt decay and smother over putrify and hero's downfall. less mana and they will hit everything you would see in legacy

1
Posted 29 December 2014 at 17:26

you have a great point but think about control deck with big creatures that why i put putrify and hero's downfall

0
Posted 29 December 2014 at 21:59

I have to agree that Abrupt Decay is way better then Putrefy.

1

i have to agree with that

0

In legacy meta you usually dont see very many control decks running big creatures. there are many more running batterskull, cheap goblins, delver, stoneforge mystic, thalia, young pyromancer

Not sure why you cut all 4 Ezuri, Renegade Leader and kept 4 Eladamri, Lord of Leaves. You should be running 2 of each main deck.

Just main board a set of song of the dryad, a lot of people run it in legacy, literally gets rid of everything

2

Terminate isn't worth splashing red. BG has plenty of removal: Murderous Cut, Putrefy, Maelstrom pulse, Abrupt decay, smother, song of the dryad und und und

I agree, it's definitely not worth splashing Red for.

Since you have a good amount of mana producers I would drop the land count to 18 or 19 and add moar elves, considering they are your win condition. I'd also look at the mana curve. You have a lot of three drops but not that many 1 or 2 drops which limits what you can do on turns 1 and 2 and cuts into the game flow on turns 4+. I'll be honest, it's a good idea but you are going to need to tweak it quite a bit before it becomes something that dominates your meta. The potential is there, don't get me wrong but you need to find another edge to make the deck really scary.
