The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

The walls provide defense against opponents' early drops, while providing the mana to play the big drops early. Overgrown battlement can be very useful when a few defenders are down. This is in addition to the mana from the elves, wild growths and drumhunters. Garruk's packleader is pretty cool, especially when you get a nesting wurm in hand, because you then get to draw an additional card for each one you then play. The stalking stones can be changed into creatures for late gams when mana reserves are high and are no longer needed.

Love overgrown battlement! Just out of curiosity does Vine Trellis count as a creature with defender? Either way I think this deck will definitely, definitely generate quite a bit of mana. The only card to me that feels unhelpful is stalking stones. It seems kind of over-costed and the fact that it only provides a 3/3 makes it feel kind of flat. I like that you have so many draw card abilities in here too in order to keep things moving late in the game when you can play just about anything available. What about adding cards like Stream of Life or Untamed Might to really maximize the late-game effects of having so much mana? I'm not sure what I would remove to add these in though. Just food for thought. If you have a chance, take a look at a couple of my decks too!

Just seen this comment. Been so long and not had any comments I had given up.Lol. Cheers very much mate, glad you like the deck. I'm pretty sure Vine Trellis counts as having defender. I think defender. I have looked it up on the data base and it does show as having defender. I like stalking stones to be fair. My logic, is that it acts as mana, but later in the came when I do not need lands to generate mana, I can at least make some use out of stalking stones and get a 3/3, which is more helpful than if it had been just a forest. that make sense? I do like the idea of stream of life/untamed might, as what I have found from playing this deck is that I can generate loads of mana late game. Not sure what to take out though, as you said. I might always sideboard it and then it will be helpful against faster decks or whatever. Cheers. Oh and also, I'll take a look at yours later on.
