Just seen this comment. Been so long and not had any comments I had given up.Lol. Cheers very much mate, glad you like the deck. I'm pretty sure Vine Trellis counts as having defender. I think defender. I have looked it up on the data base and it does show as having defender. I like stalking stones to be fair. My logic, is that it acts as mana, but later in the came when I do not need lands to generate mana, I can at least make some use out of stalking stones and get a 3/3, which is more helpful than if it had been just a forest. that make sense? I do like the idea of stream of life/untamed might, as what I have found from playing this deck is that I can generate loads of mana late game. Not sure what to take out though, as you said. I might always sideboard it and then it will be helpful against faster decks or whatever. Cheers. Oh and also, I'll take a look at yours later on.

Would be fun to do admittedly, but not sure what i would swap for it, and also would question its overall effectiveness. At 5 mana it would be a somewhat slow win condition
Sure, however if you are going to rely on just primadox, what if they cast doom blade? You could always use cloudshift to save him, but then would lose his counters.
I have added in Geist-Honored Monk now, as he has the capacity to become a big bomb. I do like Blade Splicer, however not sure what to swap out. I'm not sure what purpose Wolfir Silverheart will serve, other than the obvious being a scary creature that can be dropped out early on. I'm trying to stick with the theme of bouncing and recycling abilities. Your deck is pretty cool. I like the mechanics of it.
Also, with things like travel preparations and blessing of nature, the problem with these is that they are not effective on creatures other than roaring primadox, as when you bounce them they will loose the counters. Maybe something like battle axe, or rancor instead, as they can be used over an over. Or maybe Yeva's forcemage, as she can be bounced back and recycled as with your other creatures.
Maybe Acidic Slime rather than naturalise, as you can bounce him back also?
Not sure about damnation, if the point of the deck is to get creatures out, you'll end up killing your own.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=250427 This is my take on a ping deck, haven't seen any others on vault so if you want to take a look and offer any feedback cheers.
Too high costing for this deck I feel.
Not sure about gut shot, ok you can play it without mana available but still, it's inly one damage. Shock would be better. Or for an extra one could use incinerate.
The good thing about sliver decks is that they don't need a whole lot of spells. Just utilise the slivers' abilities to your advantage, and use the boosters to produce big slivers.
Plated sliver is a good one, as are ward sliver and poultice sliver. Could always sideboard them.
Phyrexian obliterator is mental, seriously painful deck. Love it
Nice deck, fast and furious and also relentless :)
Dunno. I don't think it's worth it. If for e.g I pick up the silverskin armor/liquimetal coating and haven't an angel in hand then they are of no use. Also, I wouldn't want to take anything out for them because I need all the other cards to help the combo work.
I thought about propaganda. Trouble is that once they have a few creatures down then the game is as good as theirs anyway. It may work though, because it means they can't attack and lay monsters, and if I have a propaganda as well as overburden down then it's pretty effective stalling.
I found a card that I now prefer to Mana Breach, which is overburden. I prefer it because it costs one less mana to play, and as it only affects creature spells it allows me to play my bounce spells without losing a land to my hand. The fact it only affects their creatures doesn't bother me too much. It's their creatures that scare me.
Yeah I quite like the mana breach. As I can play it rather than a bounce spell. Although it allows them to get an extra land down they will then lose it if they play a spell. Cheers
I'm not too keen on vampiric tutor because the card goes to the top of the deck and so I'll miss a draw. I cannot afford demonic tutors which is why I never included any. I'm looking to build this deck once I'm happy with it. However, I have swapped the diabolic tutors for beseech the queen. Did not know about it, but it's slightly better because can play it for 3 mana, and as you said can play it off of the priest of gix. The tutors are mainly to search for braids and so would need four lands out to use it anyway, but I would save one mana which is always good, and there may be times I search for the reanimator. Cheers.
I like this it looks fun and with a simple strategy :)
