The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
I'm not certain but I think this is a broken loop;life total = 40Trostani and Rhox are on battlefield.Avatar comes in as 40/40 you You gain 80 life at the same timeHe is a 80/80 at the same timeYou gain 160 life at the same time...Or, how I'm hoping the ruling works;life total = 40Trostani and Rhox are on battlefield.Avatar comes in as */* youYou gain 2* = ** = NullAvatar becomes 40/40Next turn make un-blockable, attack

That "loop" doesn't work. This is how it'd happen:Assuming both Rhox Faithmender and Trostani, Selesnya's Voice are out.As Serra Avatar enters the battlefield, Trostani will read its toughness and grant you that much life, then as she tries to give you that life, Rhox stepps in and doubles that. That's where it ends as the Avatar will by then already be in play so Trostani won't try and give more life.

Sweet, so it does work the way I'm expecting it to? That's awesome.
Just in case I wasn't clear enough, here's an example of what'd happen:Let us say you're on 12 life when Avatar enters the battlefield. Avatar will enter as a 12/12 and trigger Trostani. Trostani will try give you 12 life as the Avatar (that is now on the battlefield) has 12 toughness. The life gain triggers Rhox and he'll double that 12 to 24 (effectivly granting an additional 12). Once all this is done, you gain 24 life (putting you on 36) and the Avatar will be a 36/36. No additional life will be gained from this combo and the Avatar will not become bigger.
Sounds even better :P Cheers buddy.
of course with the closet and cloudshift, that number could double a lot of times in 1 round... o.O this would definitely be annoying to play against, but there are still a couple of ways around it. worldfire totally springs to mind. :) i might suggest cutting back to 2 rogues passage though cuz if you pull them all at the beginning, you might be in trouble.
I see yea but Worldfire is a 9 mana card so, Might proxy this see what the rogues are like. I was thinking 2 farseek 2 rangers path instead of 4 farseek might be wise too.
This just seems incredibly unlikely to win with because one, all it takes is one removal spell and your entire combo is screwed. And two, the conjurers closet seems to be a waste of time. A deck built like this should swing in one turn and kill the opponent, not bank on a steadily increasing bomb. Also, you ideally play Trostani turn 3 and play Avatar on turn 5, leaving a nice hole for the opponent to disperse the combo. Its risky, I say. I would consider running something that is more spell based from your hand instead of creature based to limit the amount of opponent interference
An interesting option you could add (though off colour) is Essence Harvest. With Harvest, you don't even have to attack to win :)Another option that also requires black is Vizkopa Guildmage. Activate the Guildmage's second ability, then play your combo :p
