Deck Description

UW Apocalypse themed deck.

The plan is to prepare for the apocalypse, bring the apocalypse with DoJ and Worldslayer, then emerge dominant in the post-apocalyptic landscape.

Combos:
- Argent Sphinx and DoJ/WS: Blink away and return unscaved in either instance. Can also wield WS, deal damage then blink.
- Bonehoard and DoJ/WS: Can get pretty huge.
- Puresteel is a nice 2 drop, that can speed up worldslaying.
- Karn is in because he fits the theme.

Enjoy :)

Edit: Needed more worldslayer wielders. So Methran Soldier represents Invisible stalker from new innistrad set.

Hmmm, maybe. Not sure Vensers ability can be used during combat though, which means he couldn't save stuff from world slaying??

Hey sildiran, sorry for late reply, wasn't able to test this until this weekend past.

argent sphinx is sick! perferct for wielding a worldslayer, and great defence while setting up the combo. But I found the DoJs are essential in keeping control.

The shortcoming with this build is that I didn't have the right creatures to make the worldslaying swing (with the exception of argent). I know your build deals with this problem with the cloak. How does that work for you? Does the Shroud make things too cumbersome? Another solution is a cheap unblockable creature maybe....

yeah, about that little problem, the cloak does work but is way too slow to be really effective. It would still be good as an alternate way so tell me if you find something else ;)

Yo, I made some changes to the deck. Check out invisible stalker: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=123431&stc=1&d=1314938311
Haven't tested him yet but I think he'll be good with a worldslayer :P
