Deck Description

This deck was inspired by the two cards Springjack Pasture and Springjack Shepherd. I looked at the quirky creature and thought, "An army of Goat tokens? Sounds fun!" Since then I have added a number of cards to support the deck's main function of pumping out massive amounts of 0/1 Goats.

I always love modifying my decks with fresh ideas to keep my playgroup on their toes! If anyone has any suggestions to help this deck, please let me know! Currently I am looking for something that I can toss a large amount of mana into, preferably a permanent that is white! Please add suggestions in the comments!

How to Play

This deck is a casual build to have fun in multiplayer matches with friends, but can solo as well! The deck really plays itself, but here's the idea plan:

Early plays include dropping Soul Warden(s) and/or Soul's Attendant(s). On turn two you hope that an opponent has three lands so you can cast an awesome Knight of the White Orchid for some ramp, but Leonin Relic-Warder is okay too.

Turn three you want to drop an early Glorious Anthem to set up for your turn four: playing Springjack Shepherd to gain 7 life and put 6 tokens on the field. After that, it's a matter of using your other creatures and spells to either remove nasty blockers or other threats, or bouncing Shepherd for more life gain and token creation!

Deck discussion for Strength of the Springjack

Parallel Lives, Intangible Virtue, Emmara Tandris; double goat tokens, +1/+1 and vigilance, indestructible goats. Have Fun

Well, I'd like to keep the deck Mono-White because it helps with the Chroma effect of Springjack Shepherd, but Intangible Virtue isn't a bad idea! The only reason I run Glorious Anthem anyhow is because it give +1/+1 to all my creatures and it has 2 white mana symbols. I've also considered Honor of the Pure for the same reason, but 1 more white mana symbol can actually help a lot.

Thanks! I have worked very hard on it, and it wins surprisingly often when I play it! :)

I just checked it out, it looks neat! You took a more life gain spin on it, whereas the life gain in my deck is mostly for stalling. I find that people almost instantly target Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant, because they know how out of hand it can get, so I almost use it like bait! Goats forever!

I have ever saw a deck that tries to beat me up with goats. Until now.
