The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Any deck ideas you would like to see or any tips for the current deck are welcomed below. You can also check out my other decks with my page link.

I just got this deck for my birthday and it works better than it looks like in a card listing. I've playtested it a few times already and it's probably going to become my main deck.
A deck of this style has been my dream deck ever since I heard about magic back in '07, when I was 9. Eight years later, at 17, it's a reality, and I can't wait to find new and better cards for it. If you can think of any that are BETTER than what I have, please leave a comment and what I should replace with it. If you can think of any that maybe aren't better but can be situational/added flavor to winning, you can leave a comment and if I like the card I'll sideboard it.

How to Play

---------- PERFECT ROUND ----------
Turn 1: Swamp -> Dark Ritual -> Dark Ritual (It's important you play them at the same time or you won't have the mana to play the second this turn!!!!!) -> Buried Alive on Reya Dawnbringer, Platinum Angel, and Ob Nixilis (The third one is interchangeable but Ob Nixilis is my favorite early game for landfall.) -> Animate Dead on Reya Dawnbringer.
Turn 2: Bring Platinum Angel to the field with Reya's effect and you're set.

---------- IF Reya Dawnbringer IS IN YOUR STARTING HAND ----------
Turn 1: Draw -> End turn, discarding Reya.
Turn 2: Follow above strategy starting at turn 1 but put Platinum Angel and two other cards into you're graveyard since Reya is already there.

---------- IF YOU CAN'T DO THE REST ----------
As soon as you can, use Buried Alive for Reya, Platinum Angel, and any other creature. If you're in a pinch, use Animate on Platinum Angel. If you aren't in a pinch and have one or more turns to spare, use Animate on Reya.

---------- TIPS ----------
- You want guys out in this order as soon as possible: Reya, Platinum Angel, Ob Nixilis, Champion of Stray Souls, Archfiend, etc. Anything after Platinum Angel is pretty situational and basically up to preferred taste.
-Altar of Dementia + Living Death = mill and you have all your creatures granted you use Altar's effect first.
-Necromancer's Stockpile can put creature's into your graveyard (especially Reya since there is no white mana) while drawing you a card.
-Living Death into Avatar of Woe could potentially make it cost only {B}{B}.
-Grave Betrayal + Living Death is a game changer. I only run 1 Betrayal because I didn't plan it being a win condition, just something helpful if I drew it.
-Extractor Demon + Champion of Stray Souls + "Tap-> Destroy target creature." Tap them, then tap Champion, your opponent mills two for each and you can get them right back (or potentially a better card in your graveyard, say Reya or Platinum Angel.)
-Archfiend + 2 "Tap-> Destroy target creature." Your opponent will have ZERO creatures in play to defend against you.
-Lord of the Void + any "Tap-> Destroy target creature."/Altar of Dementia + Extractor Demon. Your opponent exiles six and mills one, then mills two, and if you used Altar, they mill that much, too. (Put in Grave Betrayal for bonus points! They either lose life or mill more!)
