Deck discussion for Liquimetal Control

Maybe add more land and move the Turn Aside to the sideboard. Also, if you could get some good proliferate cards in there with the lux cannon, things could get crazy. Contagion Clasp/Engine could work quite nicely.

Still working out the sideboard for it, the Turn Aside are main'd for asset protection. Once ahead of their land curve with as many sac lands as people tend to run in standard they run out of steam pretty quickly. I feel that proliferate isn't needed as I axe'd the Cannons...{too slow}... in favor of more bounce with card advantage. I only need to buy time to burn out the land draw and it's game. The only thing that may punch me in this environment with this current incarnation is Titan Ramp. Absolutely crushes U/W Control, and Dredgevine.

the primary goal is to utilize liquimetal to coat lands. planeswalkers, whatever you like....and break it apart..the combination of a vandal or a scrapmelter on the board with coating, and a splinter twin is pretty much a win as long as you can keep them there...hence the card search to grab things like turn aside to protect your assets on the field, then just swing away till your opponent drops.

try Ancient Stirrings, amazing card for finding those first few liquimetal's. It'd mean splashing green, but green has decent enough artifact removal too (as well as those oh so tasty buff spells =P)
