The two cards that are key to this deck are Assault Formation and Kin-Tree Invocation. Dark Petition allows you to search for an Assault Formation or Ob Nixilus if needed. The goal is to use Assault Formation to turn all your defenders into 4/4 or 5/5 creatures. Using Shape the Sands after Assault Formation is played makes it a +5/+5 buff for one mana.I haven't messed with the sideboard much. I've swapped Outland Colossus in and out several times, but I haven't seen very much improvement using him.
