This deck features lots of discard on both sides to take advantage of Madness and Hellbent. With your opponent crippled, savor their struggle to make plays as you slowly snuff out the last of their hopes.
Force everyone to discard as soon as possible to take control of the game. Pulling Teeth is great for this, especially since you have a few high-costed cards in the mix that you'd only expect to play with madness. Smallpox is also brutal if you can time it right. The Gorgon Recluse makes for an excellent blocker, and it's an easy decision to chump block with the Black Cat.If you can get a Painful Quandary or even a Gibbering Descent under your Howltooth Hollow, you can set your opponents up for an ugly surprise later on. Feel free to discard creatures: those with madness actually come into play, and the Zanikev Locust is actually scarier in the graveyard. Besides, you can bring any creature back for free by discarding Call to the Netherworld. To win, you're looking to whittle down your opponent with Shrieking Affliction and Stabwhisker and Quest for the Nihil Stone, though often you'll be able to power through in an attack with anything that's been upgraded with a scavenged Locust if you've done a good job of controlling your opponent. Painful Quandary is your "win more" card here, and is truly terrifying if you also have a Gibbering Descent or Cunning Lethemancer to keep your opponent at no cards in hand.
