There were two purposes to this deck. The first was to see if Karametra could be utilized to essentially double the effectiveness of creature ramp and high valued creatures by getting twice as much mana off of "mana dorks" from both the cast trigger and their abilities. Secondly, I wanted to make a point to a friend about the power level of rare cards and built the deck almost exclusively from my trade binder and highly played commons/uncommons at the time. The result was a particularly linear, but fun and aggressive deck.
If the deck plays well, the goal is to play Karametra on turn three when possible, and then cast as many early creatures as possible to thin out lands and have access to playing the larger spells whenever necessary. An important Note: Save Rest in Peace unless playing against dedicated graveyard strategies or on key turns, as it turns off several of your own powerful spells like Eternal Witness and Scavenging Ooze. Otherwise, play big and drive it home!
