I feel sorry for those who "like" this deck without realizing the implications of liking "penis in the butt"

2 other suggestions. You have a major weakness to board clearing spells if you don't have savage thallid out and enough saprolings to sac. I'd suggest since your already g/w, consider Loxodon Heirarch, he doesn't really go with the theme, but his ability is quite useful, unless of course its Wrath of God or the like, which savage thallid would fail at as well.

Secondly, an overwhelming stamped or two could turn this from 20 1/1 saprolings and a 20/20 mycoloth swinging, into 20 21/21 saprollings and a 40/40 mycoloth swinging and all have trample.

I'd say definitely add Gilder Bairn, and some method of protecting mycoloth. Example, Canopy Cover.

Say you have 15 saproling out, cast mycoloth devouring all 15, play canopy cover, tap Gilder Bairn. Next upkeep you put 60 saprolings in play.

Don't know if this is a route you wanna go, but splashing a little green and adding loxodon hierarch could help get you the results you're looking for.

Spamming with replies, but I'm looking at adding Darksteel Ingot to the mix. Mana of any color and its indestructible, so I wouldn't have to worry as much.

Well I just realized Overwhelming forces is a hundred dollar card so scratch that.

I've added Teneb to my sideboard because I might add him and Overwhelming forces. I like the idea of destroying all an opponents creatures, drawing cards, and then returning a Caller of the Claw from my graveyard to play.

As far as mana goes, the Sakura-Tribe Elders and Cultivates are there for help as well as a few fetch lands. What would you suggest?

Thanks for the tip off on Liliana's Caress, I'd forgotten about that one. Also, I changed caress of phyrexia to sign in blood but I want to keep caress in the sideboard maybe, for those occasions where infect might come in handy. Which brings me to my next point, the whispering specters aren't really there for the discard as much as being something that can be sacrificed to block or slowly stack poison counters and surprise caress if its an overly healing opponent. Lastly, I really just have Butcher in the deck to help keep the opposing creatures under control. I'm still searching for a cheaper alternative, but this is a card I have a playset of already.

I've come to find how he's not bad, just not really doing anything for me either. So I've updated it a little with what seth suggested on the forum post. Currently I'm using llanawar elves and fyndhorn elders in lieu of sakura-tribe elders and glare of subdual. Soon to change!
