I love this deck! My only suggestions would be to somehow add vexing shusher and savage summoning.

the glory of this is that it is edh so progenitus is casted by 10. you dont have to wait for it happen by your hand or using most of your deck for cards that search your deck.

Edit: add Coalition Victory because you win if you have all land colors and creatures of each color

Coalition Victory isn't legal though.. unless your opponents are okay with it..

and it is bad card because you will have all the creature colors bu no basics. and there is like 1 percent chance you will have creatures with all colors and all basics land types and Coalition Victory on the battlefield.

but with prismatic omen it dosn't matter. anyway this deck isn't legal in vintage anyway

You do realize that you won't be able to give Prog any of those pretty enchantments, right?

why, technically he is all 5 colors.

He has protection from everything, including spells you control, which in turn means you can't target him with enchantments. Unfortunately you need global effects to boost him like Nirkana Revenant or Nylea.

Good global enchantments that I think will help this deck out are True Conviction, Mirari's Wake/Mana Reflection, and Akroma's Memorial (although that is an artifact).

thanks. it clears things up

Miraris wake is better than Mana Reflection because it cost less mana and it get your creatures +1/+1

Yeah, seconding this one. You should just swap Progenitus for Child of Alara, then you'd have yourself a really baller EDH deck.

holy cacao, yes. Child of Alara would be so dangerous with all those enchantments on it. And huge from the lieges. Not exactly a commander people want to kill either.

You guys are forgetting the point, NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY AGAINST CHILD OF ALARA! Just a heads up because my friend made a 500 dollar Child of Alara deck and no one ever played with him, I mean seriously who wants there board to get wiped every turn!!!

You could cut 4 lands and play 4 ramp spells
I'm thinking explosive vegetation, rampant growth kodama's reach and farseek

lands are better than mana ramp

0

but than there will be toooooooooooooo many other cards and NO lands

40 lands is higher then most edh decks. Ramp spells fix colors an accelerate you by putting out more lands.
With 44 lands you will have excess lands and not enough cards that do things normally.

but deck must have 40% lands and 60% other cards.

personal preference is 1/3 lands. I would sub 5 ramp spells for lands.
mana ramping with this kind of deck is necessary because in theory, if you don't ramp, you'll be able to play Progenitus turn 10, if you're LUCKY. You want to get this badass out turn 6 or 7 and start wailing on your opponents.

Ive ran a deck based solely on playing Progenitus, but this is a really cool & simple style!
I, for sure, suggest Spirit of Resistance, Kight of New Alara, Shard Convergence, Asceticism, and maybe Faith's Reward, Boros Charm and a few Leylines to protect your field.

hey i would suggest the bringers, as in this deck, 5 colors isnt hard and they are powerful creatures, especially the black, so you can tutor on your upkeep.

Everyone keeps saying to put Child of Alara in this deck but they are forgetting with this being a commander deck your commander will never hit the graveyard. "If your commander would be put into the graveyard or removed from play it goes back to the commande zone". Child of Alara is not a commander because of that. However if you are trying to get a commander out that you can ramp with enchantments use Cromat.

that is not the point. The point is to give it all the abilities of the creatures on the field as well as the enchantments on the field. Also it is much, much cheaper.

0
Posted 13 November 2013 at 21:40

That is why I say Cromat is better becuase he is the same mana cost, but he also has additional abilities that make him more useful

honestly I did not know what cromat was. I have seen it before and i forgot what it was. I honestly think that it would be a better choice than the child. Even though it is weaker by 1 point that wont make a huge difference. @mmato0001 add cromat!

My friend helped me build a EDH deck oddly familiar to this. I'm going to have a word with him. On that note, this deck is pretty awesome. You could add Maelstrom Archangel for extra annoyance. Also, you could add the blue and black bringers in for card draw and tutor.

LOL I just realized you accidentally put the alpha version of demonic tutor, you might want to change that because I started flipping out when I saw that 200 dollar price for one card!

maze rusher, maze abomination, maze sentinel, maze behemoth, and maze glider. this is an absolute must in this deck.
