Don't like many combos like this usually but this one is fun

How does this work exactly ?
Devoted Druid with Presence of Gond+Ivy Lane Denizen negating the -1/-1 counters on the druid. Thats the combo!

To clarify for draon77, enchant Devoted Druid with the Presence of Gond enchantment while you have Ivy Lane Denizen out on the field. Tap Devoted Druid for a 1/1 Elf token, then Ivy Lane Denizen gives Devoted Druid a +1/+1/ counter. Then UNTAP Devoted Druid, giving him a -1/-1 counter, returning him to his original power and toughness. Then just tap Devoted Druid again, and repeat the combo 250,000,000 times and swing next turn Or so I think
and have elvish archdruid and you have then enought mana to feed joraga warcaller and swing next turn for 600000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 damage :-) for example
I don't think that's enough damage XD
maybe
need more 0's
Take out the Wall and add Umbral Mantle. It gives you infinite mana and with this deck infinite elves.
The Umbral mantle deck was my first legacy deck back when I played casually x)
How does this work?
Thats the combo!
yes!
This is strangely complicated lol. I've seen plenty of presence of gond combo decks but never ones wit ivy lane lol.
Traproot Kami over your wall if you need reach.
I agree. Cheaper to put out, probably going to be bigger, and has reach without having to pay for it each time.
if you have 600000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 mana from your elves, then it is not a problem to pay 1 green mana for tanglecord
Ok, but why choose to have to pay at all when you could have something bigger, and cheaper?
This is an awesome deck! You should add Overrun just for an overkill XD
Agreed.
I Like Overwhelming Stampede better than overrun, especially if you have one of your guys pumped up real big.
for overkill is here joraga warcaller and when you do the combo then elvish archdruid will feed the joraga warcaller
Very interesting. :)
Nissa Revane would be nice as it would add an Infinite Life Combo as well
1) how did you add so many tags to this when there is only a max of 42) Wall of Tanglecord doesn't serve much of a purpose in this deck, perhaps a Regal Force or at least Elvish Mystic for more ramp
1) thats the BUG because when i do the tags and then add some cards to the deck, the the tags are removed and then i add them there once more time and when is deck completed, then there are 8 tags.2) NO.
1) fair enough2) May I ask why not?
Elvish mystic = Llanowar Elves and i dont need infinite card draw.
Heedless one
I like this - Seems to me that you could use a way of finding precense of Gond, though.
New turn 2 infinite sacrifice deck I just made :3 Please view and help!http://www.mtgvault.com/worldsbestbillybob/decks/infinite-sacrifice-combo-t2/
i like it! it is a very good deck.
Token-making decks must have Parallel LivesThat's what i think...
you are STUPID or what??? there is infinite combo you dumb! so you can have like 6000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 elves and that is preeeeeeeeeeeeety much.
Why not have 12x10^67 elves instead of 6x10^67 elves? SB it....
you can have 600000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 elves! because you can have any number of elves in this deck!!!!
Just saying that Parallel Lives would be hilarious, even moreso than your basic combo
And 1 board wipe before you swing and your owned!!
you could also do it with melira, sylvok outcast.also here is my infinite mana/elves/no land deck.enjoy!http://www.mtgvault.com/dragonwolf7/decks/hobo-elves/
Melira does not work with Devoted Druid. You cannot place -1/-1 counters on your creatures so you cannot pay the cost of the ability to untap it.
You don't need to replace Devoted Druid with Melira
Oh, wait. Never mind
http://www.mtgvault.com/dragonwolf7/decks/hobo-elves/ i think bad deck . . .
Another card you could put in here is quillspike.
http://www.mtgvault.com/mmato0001/decks/put-and-remove/ here is quillspike & devoted druid combo
What about adding a concordant Crossroads? 60000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000the turn they come into play!
You should play imperious perfect! (:Mind checkin out my deck? (:I'm playing it at an old rivalry match with my bud soon and I need some advice on it? :Dhttp://www.mtgvault.com/greenee/decks/the-final-sacrifice/
Corpsejack Menace would be good. to permabuff your creature. +2 ->-1-+1 repeat. but its not mono green. :T
Really nice thinking.... I recommend you to use roffelos and eladamri, so you could be faster and your elves would not be powned.
I like a good ole' Elf deck and this is as nice as they come. Care to take a look? http://www.mtgvault.com/jarrettbeast97/decks/bant-scapeshift/
get something to draw cards. instead of 24 lands. 20 is probably all you need.
Totally Agreed
I would add a couple of Cream of the Crop's, Doubling Seasons and Helix Pinnacle, otherwise a great deck!
My friend has an elves deck, and I have this card that he hates:http://cdn.manaclash.com/images/cards/210x297/GTC/illness-in-the-ranks.jpgThink about it. =)
Just saying. Blessed reversal... or some board wipe or some other bullshit :)
very interesting... although the ivy lane denizen doesn't actually remove the counters... it does make the combo work. pretty cool. :) hm... I wonder if there is a way to remove the -1/-1 counters aside from just buffing the druid with +1/+1 counters. (not that this is bad, just curious.) I am going to have to look into it.oh, and flourishing defenses would go well in here. :)
