So how do you make obliterator/persecutor twice as deadly? Glistening oil. I have been playtesting obliterator since i first saw him and I found that unless he was an immediate game ending threat he was just an extremely powerful wall. Give it infect now the whole game changes. Opponents with light removal (or red removal) scramble for one or two cards that will save their lives because bloocking a 5/5 infect obliterator is tremendously terrifying. Not to mention a flying 6/6 with infect... OMG A living weapon that returns to your hand??!!! AND IT HAS LIFELINK AND VIGILANCE... Infect please. Grafted exoskeleton would work wonders too but I fear the mana curve won't allow it. this deck is running lots on the high end of things and keeping pace with some of the control archetypes is difficult at times. Skythyrix wins games by himself so i want to keep a slot open for him but i can't bring myself to tear myself away from one of the 4 mana big drops I have. I need some help trimming this deck and fixing the curve. Also question for someone in the know. Ok so I animate creeping tar pit and place glistening oil on it. Beat for 3 infect pass turn. Does glistening oil return to my hand because it is no longer enchanting a creature?
