Deck Description

Bought a Betrayers Of Kamigawa Ninja deck awhile back and dismantled it for some years. I know what you're thinking, gross. I don't usually build decks with single copies of cards, but i decided to throw it back together with a twist with a bunch of cards I already had, that work well with the theme/strategy. This will most likely get cleaned up when I purchase more cards

How to Play

For a deck that was put together in around 15 minutes, this deck seems to work very well 1v1. Use your unblockable creatures to hit your opponent directly, and then sneak your ninjas onto the battlefield by paying their Ninjutsu costs. All the while controlling the game with your instant spells and scrying cards/placing them back in the order you want. Cause your opponent to unsummon their creatures with cards like Vapor Snare, Kaijin Of The Vanishing Touch and Mistblade Shinobi, and then cancel it when they recast. You can get a pretty brutal card loop going if you have an unblockable creature and a couple of Mistblade Shinobis on deck. I would prefer to throw cards like Cancel in here, but I don't have any left over at the moment.

good call on the distortion strikes..i think i have a few of those laying around too...i was pondering splashing some artifact weapons in there..i like your suggestion for battlecry, because that is where the deck kind of suffers....it manages the game well, but doesn't do large amounts of damage..was pondering some of the black ninjas as well and splashing B in here...i appreciate the suggestions

I run my Ninja deck Black and Blue The black ninjas do have higher attack but Ninja decks are about control. as long as you can make your ninjas hit it doesn't matter how long it takes. the problem you might have is that you have so few ninjas( I run 22 ninjas in my deck). I would make it black and blue for more ninjas. But first there are somethings that i think will help the deck remove Halimar Depths, Soldevi Excavations, Mystifying Maze, Phantom Warrior, Minamo Sightbender, Infiltrate(replace with Distortion Strike) then add plus 3 Invisible Stalker, plus 2 Soaring Seacliff, plus 2 island so your back to 23 lands then Ornithopter( for a ninja deck it's a must a 0/2 with flying that cost 0).
