I have always been a fan of Zombie flicks as a kid, so when I found out there was a Zombie creature type I instantly got to work. I've been playing this for around 4 years. This deck went through a lot of different phases and trials. Could spend the extra money for some of the newer Innistrad cards, but this plays very brutally as is.
The purpose of this deck is to overrun your opponents with as many Zombies as possible, all while forcing them to sacrifice their creatures and drawing your undead back out of the grave. Causing opponents to sacrifice, as opposed to destroy effects that "target" creatures, is a great way to get around Indestructible/Hexproof/Shroud creatures, because you're not actually targeting anything, but causing them to choose what they sacrifice. Cards like Fleshbag Marauder/Unholy Grotto/Lord Of The Undead make for some brutal card loops. Also, ramping out as many Zombies as possible with your token generating cards like Cemetery Reaper and Vile Rebirth is relentless with Gempalm Polluter/Shepherd Of Rot. If you have 5 Zombies on the table, you can Cycle Gempalm Polluter for 5 direct damage to them, while drawing a card, and then another 5 damage to all players (your opponent and yourself) before you even attack. If you've managed to ramp up your Zombies with your generals, then they also have to brace for a gigantic attack phase. The tribal instant also allows you to pull it back out of the graveyard, as it is "technically" a zombie card. Very obnoxious, very effective.
