Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Work on getting Twilight Drover or Midnight Guard, enchanted with Elemental Mastery. Put out a bunch of tokens, gain a ton of life with Soul Warden, put a bunch of +1/+1 counters on your creatures with Cathars' Crusade, and overwhelm them with your numbers. Let me know what you think. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks, guys!

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Infinite Tokens!

good lord! Midnight guard equipped with elemental mastery, that's a gamewinner. Seriously, infinite tokens with haste! Nasty for a budget deck.

Thank you, sir! I need to get Midnight Guard up to four. I also want to keep Twilight Drove at four, due to his ability mixed with Elemental Mastery.

Thank's dude. Now I just need to figure out how to offset the cost of the card. That's part of the challenge of budget decks.

I'm the same way. Budget decks can be fun, though. Most of my decks aren't on a budget, but they're do-able. All of the decks that I have on here are ones that I actually own. I have several more to upload, though. I've taken out one of my Elemental Mastery cards, and added in Cathars' Crusade; thanks for the tip.

This surely looks like a lot of fun.
But in the case you don't get that combo, I have few great suggestions:

Intagible Virtue.
One of the most overpowered cards in a token deck.

Gather the Townsfolk.
Gets you two or five tokens for just two mana. Krenko's Command, Dragon Fodder and Raise the Alarm are also good choices. You said that this deck should become faster, and these and Intagible Virtue above are great choices to do so.
I can see that you already have Intagible Virtue and Raise the Alarm in your sideboard. Why not maindeck them?

Accorder Paladin.
Swift and deadly buff upper.

I hope I helped.

I am new to magic, but I would up elemental mastery and twilight drover, along with the sorcery cards up to 4, and drop a few of the other creature cards to make room to generate more cheap tokens, and also up the chance for the combo. The bauble seems superfluous to me. Maybe something to return sorcery to your hand like anarchist and maybe a couple of elixer of immortality to recycle if need be.

Newbie? Hell, you think like a veteran already!
Well pondered thoughts.

I appreciate the feedback, Corwin. I had more of Elemental Mastery and Twilight Drover in there, but I had to cut it back. Sure, it is a great combo, and it really does well, but it was slowing down the deck a lot. I want this to be a token based deck, but I also want some firepower aside from the tokens. Since Northy gave me a few pointers, the deck works really well. Thanks, Northy!

Congregate would be hilarious or Well if you don't want to spend to much mana.

Nobilis of War would definitely help out.

Congregate would be insane!! Haha! I may take out Wayfarer's Bauble for it.

Advantage of using Wayfarer's Bauble over something like Evolving Wilds?

It allows for a second land on that turn. It is the same concept as Rampant Growth; you play it on turn two, and have out three land on the second turn. I'm taking it out, just haven't gotten to it yet.
