The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
I'm by no means a seasoned player, but I was inspired by the Explore mechanic (and Wildgrowth Walker, obviously) and wanted to see if I could make something work.Deck is a work-in-progress, changes will occur. Suggestions are very much welcome!
Play Wildgrowth Walkers, keep them alive, bring them back to life, make them thicc.

This looks like a fun deck. Gonna give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

I've been playing around with your design and flavoring it to my own tastes:http://www.mtgvault.com/lyanheart/decks/exploring-the-wilds/I really, really like it and can't wait to actually play it once all the cards are available.Added a few ways to power-up and add Trample to the creatures at the expense of the some of the instant protections.
Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out! This deck is definitely a WIP, and I was also thinking about adding some trample in to shore up some weak spots.
Excellent! i'm currently working on a B/G explore deck for standard, and i love to see someone else trying to exploit that beautiful mechanic that is Explore :)Little suggestion to increase a little bit the speed of your deck: 4x Emissary of Sunrise and 4x Merfolk Branchwalker (and you should completly remove the Sunrise Seeker.....way too heavy on the mana cost for the value). If you can have access to them (if money is not a problem), Jadelight Ranger can do wonders in this deck!.Also, in standard right now the best protective spell in green is Blossoming Defense, something you should include 4x instead of Blinding Fog and maybe just reduce by 2 the number of Verdant Rebirth. Blossoming Defense is a protective spell as well as a combat trick, so really versatile.Other than that, Evolving Wild can be a good land as it will thin your library a little and makes your Explore trigger more constant if your goal is the +1+1 counters.Bravo for this deck, continue your good work!
Thank you very much for the suggestions and critique! I tried to challenge myself by sticking to Ixalan and Rivals ('cause I love the sets to death), but I'm gonna tinker with the deck anyway so I might expand to other sets.
hehehe no problems, for a while i experimented on block only decks, in Amonkhet and Hour specifically.really fun to do and i dont want to discourage you from continuing to do so ;)
I really like this deck. It touches on a few of the more subtle aspects of explore that I enjoy greatly. That being said, I'm going to suggest you drop the mainboard naturalizes. The card is too high variance to run four of off the bat. Personally I'd move them to the side board or run some Thrashing Brontodons in their stead, as the beefy body is pretty much always useful. The other thing I'd be curious about changing would be finding some sort of repeatable mana sink for the late game. My rationale is that once you manage to get a few explore triggers, you're likely to have more mana than you can use, since exploring won't put any actual spells into your hand until your next draw step. The first thing that springs to mind is Oketra, but she's questionable in a deck with only 18 creatures in it, and you seem to be creating a Ixalan block deck anyway. There's some possibility in Black with either the repeatable explore creature or Journey to Eternity, but that involves some manabase rework that might not be worth. Although now that I think on it Winding Constrictor would let you beef up your team a lot faster at the low, low price of compromising the Ixalan Block Constructed status.Anyway, food for thought. This deck still looks like it'll smash some poor aggro player's dreams, and that's my bar for enjoyable magic.
Thanks! I definitely see the mana issue but I'm not sure if there's a solid way to solve it, due to how Explore works in the first place you know? But I might cut down on the sheer amount of Explore in the deck (since I have ways to recycle the explorers), and get a bit more room to play with.
