Deck Description

My inspiration of this deck was to come up with something that is unique in the school that I go to. Not many of the people here have a deck like this one. With this deck I can win every duel that happens at my school.

How to Play

The one thing that I built this deck around was "Elspeth Tirel." This card has some amazing abilities on it. In which my favorite one is it's -6 ability, which destroys all permanents excluding tokens and lands. Amazingly this card does not get destroyed. There are other cards in the deck that bring in tokens so you can keep them in the battlefield once you use the planes walkers last ability.

Deck discussion for Diverse As the Year is Long

Elspeth Tirel doesn't get destroyed by its -5 ability. It says: "Destroy all OTHER permanents except for lands and tokens". :)

Also, your deck is missing one card. Assuming in your school decks are mostly played with 60 cards in them (pretty much the standard very often).
Cheers.

Thank you very much for the information Morty. I had someone look at the deck and he told me that the Elspeth Tirel gets destroyed as well when I use its -5 ability. I have found the missing card, it was another Opaline Unicorn.

You're welcome. I know the feeling of an awesome card getting even awesomer. :)

I took another look at your manabase. You could consider taking out all of the Guildgates since you have no cards in this deck that work in conjunction with "Gates" (like, for example, Armory Guard). Instead, you could use one more of each of your life-lands. That way you'd still have the same manabase but you would gain a few more life points in the process.

Not really new cards. Just take out the Guildgates of Azorius, Selesnya and Simic and put in one more of each Blossoming Sands, Thornwood Falls and Tranquil Cove. They enter the battlefield tapped as well but now you gain a bit more life in the process.
The Guildgates just enter tapped and do nothing special for you.
