A deck built on several different combos. 2x Grim Poppet + Flourishing Defenses = infinite elves Quillspike + Devoted Druid = infinite power + Rite of Consumption for unblockability Above combo + Flourishing Defenses = infinite elves and infinite powered Quillspike to lead the attack Rest of deck is about mana acceleration for quick drops

how about essence warden instead of Twinblade slasher? it can give you infinate life, and it is 1 for a 1/1. or, if you want more mana exel, safewrite quest and Arbor elves are good candidates.

Essence Warden is a great idea. I'll make the change, ty
Essence Warden is a waste because if your combo works you dont need to gain that much life. Rite of Consumption does that work. That deck is easy countered, so if someone counters your combo you will not have good creatures to defend yourself. Add Noxious Hatchling and you will still be spawning Elfs and keep with good cretures. Remember: Noxious Hatchling is a 6/6 that come with four -1/-1 counters, so you spawn 4 Elfs and still remove two -1/-1 counters from him because his effect triggers twice when he lends on battlefield because he is a Black and Green Creature. Its a must to have in hand if you dont come with Druid Elf or a Quillspike, and Essence Warden is useless without them with that deck. While you wait for your combo its better to spawn Elfs as quick as possible for defense. Tested the deck and works perfectly than with Essence Warden.
