Deck Description

So my friend Tom and I are each creating an emperor team to vs. one another, this is my first general. The idea of the team is to use the emperor's intruder's alarm as the basis of the team. Since that deck is an elf deck that prides itself on playing 5 to 20 creatures a turn, this deck takes advantage of that by using their creatures and pinging the life out of the opposing emperor, ignoring the general in front of him completely, other than of course to steal his creatures with Charisma and attack with them.

Deck discussion for Timmy Deck (General #1)

You can't ignore the general can you, your Tims still have to take out the general before hitting the emperor, for all intents and purposes the opposing emperor does not exist to you until the general is gone.

We do target space 2, attack space 1, meaning i can cast spells and use abilities on the emperor. Also the intent is to kill as many of the general creatures as possible to defend myself with the deck, so it's not for aggro on the emperor.

Ah, fair enough then, only things I can really think of to recommend are to make sure your lightning crafter can go onto any of your creatures and maybe some form of deathtouch (gorgon flail / basilisk collar for example) A small amount of mana acceleration would also be very useful since all tims are 3 mana or more and you really don't want to be open that long (counter spell requires your first two lands to be islands and removes your ability to play lightning greaves turn 2 and lightning bolt will only get you so far.)

Ya, counterspell is really just in their for late game, The idea behind it is if they wrath of god, i could prevent it. Creature removal is by far my biggest weakness of my 3 decks.

I have to agree though, i should put in either gorgon flail, or basilik caller. Thank you for the help.
