Good catch. I replaced the Portals with Clone Shells
this deck brings up many funny situations, like summoning quicksliver gargantuan or clone with renegade doppelganger on the field! I really like it! and yea, i would replace mimic vat with Prototype Protal, so you can make copies of your creatures that copy creatures!
I actually decided to go with Clone Shell. I get a creature and a surprise creature later with any luck.
yeah but prototype portal pnly copies artifact not creatures so it kinda usless in this deck that is about coping monsters
I really like this deck. However it's big weakness is creatureless/straight burn decks because of the few cards you have in place for that situation.
If it were in a tourney I'd probably toss in more counter/redirects, but this was kind of in response to all of the Eldrazi madness out there I keep running into.
now this is a deck i like. i love to see control decks. but that being said, a counter-mill (my favorite combo) could still beat this with ease
Love the theme to this deck. However, I feel like it's very vulnerable in the first few turns to any kind of ramping aggro deck. Any thoughts?
