Deck discussion for Controlling the outcome

Moar Aberration
Rogue's Passage, only 2 though. They're good that way

If you use your milling to buff the Aberration then use Rogue's Passage, they'll almost instantly die

Didn't even think about Rogue's Passage for this deck. What should i drop for 2 more Aberrations?

A Hover Barrier and a Precinct 6
I run a fairly similar deck. And I must say, switching to using Rogue's Passages has REALLY helped

I have a couple of them sitting in a box with some other stuff, so I'll throw them in. SHould i replace some land for those?

Yeah, things have changed.
But personally, I think that Magic has peaked at Return to Ravnica though. M14 and Theros aren't as gripping as Ravnica

I'm not a huge fan of all this Heroic stuff. Battalion is fun though.

Mesmeric orb will boost your graveloving critters.
Ashiok, nightmare weaver is better than jace.
mind funeral beats mind grind.

Ashiok also exiles.
This goes AGAINST using Consuming Aberration

It has its uses though

Yeah, if exiles a creature you can "reanimate" it, if it doesn't aberration might get fed by other mill. win/win.
I thought I had looked if this was modern. Guess I missed one :(

I have had plenty of time messing with mill and 24 lands, so I can recommend that the absolute maximum number of taplands you can play with without having "bad side effects" is exactly 2. so with your manabase you are seriously dragged down. I think I would recommend that the 2 taplands you use are temple of deceit, because you can scry away excessive lands when needed.

Yeah hopefully when all the cards for this deck comes in it does pretty well. I've gotten to use it once so far without the doom blades, hover barriers, Mirkos, and Ashiok. Right now it has 4 Jace's Mindseekers, 2 cancels, and 4 duskmantle guildmages and actually won against a quicker old deck using a ton of cards with wither. Jace worked amazingly milling my friend down and won with dealing 0 damage.

If you want a Good Wall Defender get Wall of Frost, and get Breaking//Entering cause you only pay B/U to Mill them for 8.

And if your going to use Rouge's Passage as a second Win Con, maybe get Aqueous Form, that way if you Mill them with 20+ you can get out Consuming Aberration and enchant it with Aqueous Form and win that way.
