Deck Description

Started as an alternative vamp deck without the nocturnus, but hes cheaper now so I added him. This is basic vamp buffs and life stealing. Under ideal conditions a creature dies and hits an opponents graveyeard and blood artist steals one life from an opponent, then the ascension takes another when the card hits the grave.

If 2 out of the 3 cards: sanguine bond / exquisite blood / blood tribute come out its pretty much game that turn. If not, the other life stealing combos will finish up the rest.

If you cant manage to pull all that off, theres captivating vampires with bloodline keeper to help take control of opponents creatures, buff them, and use them as you please.

I play this deck all the time and it always seems to work well with itself no matter what combination of cards come out.

Suggestions are welcome and encouraged! Thanks

Deck discussion for Vampuurs Life Steal/Control

Seems like a peaty solid deck but I would replace the Bloodghast and guul draz for another cheap cost vamp with lifelink since your not guaranteed to get their life lower then 10 fast plus that's more life gain for sanguine bond.

Also I would switch pulse tracker with Blood Seeker. That stops people who constantly make token creatures.

I have been playing around with the amounts of the creatures in this deck and I have to say that with this deck AS IS, more often than not I get out cheap vamps easily at first, kick a gatekeeper to keep the opponents threat low, and then captivating comes just in time. Bloodchief ascensions come into play if that doesnt work out, and finally if that fails you have the mana for more costly combo cards. Dark Ritual just in time is AMAZING lol. Tried and tested over and over and suggestions welcome. Hope everyone enjoys!
