Deck Description

I decided I'd try to put a standard legal, inexpensive deck together, since a lot of the decks I found were going to cease to be legal when Innistrad block rotates out in September. The goal was to make a viable slivers deck for 15 dollars or less. Minus the basic lands, I ordered all cards from tcgplayer for less than 15 dollars.

How to Play

SLIVERS BE RAPIN' E'ERBODY UP IN HERE.

Manawefts start the game by plopping down and making their pals into beacons of mana loving that let you play all your Megantics, Battles, and Groundshakers that would climb in your opponent's window and snatch all their creatures up.

Want to throw a block party? Throw out those Hive Stirrings. 1/1? How wimpy! But add some of that +3/+3, Haste, Vigilance, Trample, Lifelink, Flying, +1/+1, Double Strike, etc. and they'll be making your opponents weep. I drew angry faces on the two Sliver tokens I had and photo copied them x 4 so I'd have 8 mean looking friends to wreck the other guy's house.

Those bastards got you down with their beat 'em up ways? Nahhhhh! You just lay down the Fog so they can't see your homies to lay the smack down. Maybe add in a Syphon Sliver to drain them like a bottle of Sunny D on a Saturday.

They got those flyers messing with you? Shit! Galerider sliver says "HAI THERE I ONLY COST 1 BLUE TO PLAY <3"

Not in the mood to tap it? Lay down Sentinel Sliver to keep all the horny tricks at bay.

Not to mention the Elixir of Immortality! If you throw one of those puppies down you get a bit of life back, on top of all your sliver pals back in your library ready to go, it's like a magical hangover cure.

Seriously though, I'd like some suggestions for my sideboard, and maybe some good enchants, instants, sorceries that keep with the legal after Sept. 27, and zerg theme of the deck.

Deck discussion for Slivers be rapin' e'erbody!

Door of Destinies is bad for Slivers. There are much better ways to spend your turn 4.

Elixir of Immortality doesn't do anything for Slivers since you won't be dredging yourself.

Galerider and Syphon are not good. Splashing a color solely for lifelink and flying is not a smart decision.

Add in Thorncaster Sliver to get a win condition, either by popping creatures or dealing 20 damage before blocks.

As for other cards, wait to see what Theros brings for Slivers. After that, you can consider changing from Naya to including blue and black again.

Thanks -- I edited the Syphons and Galeriders to my sideboard for now. I had to order 4 Thorncasters, I never got any of those because they were pricy. I also changed my lands to have 1 less plains/mountain and two more forests.
