Deck discussion for Cutthroat Kitchen [Modern]

This deck looks great. I think you need more 1 drops though. I suppose your best option(without using red) is shambling goblin and the other 1/1/ that gives -1/-1 on death. It hits a few relevant creatures like pyromancer, unflipped delver, thalia, noble hierarch.
I was iffy on the highborn too, but you do have 8 vampires so it could work.
Also, if price isnt an object, swap out the scriveners for confidants.
Anyway, great job.

Could probably also put lingering souls at least in the board

There are 16 vampires. Also, Lingering Souls is great—but won't get hit by the Rally.

dark confidant is referred to as Bob because of the player who won a tournament and got to design the card. http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Dark_Confidant

Could role the infinite combo with kitchen finks and anafenza as well. Finks would fit with title of the deck.

I have a deck that is similar to this, but different. the main focus for my deck is repeating the sacrifice of "when this creature dies, do X" creatures by using spells like gravepurge or dutiful return. http://www.mtgvault.com/worldsoul/decks/whiteblack-gravecycle/ this is the deck. please comment and give tips on card ideas.(ps. I call my particular take on this format gravecycle. is the proper term cutthroat kitchen? please tell me) :,(

I have very few friends that play MTG, and I never have anyone to discuss the game and all my ideas with. I'm a lonely Planeswalker. I just keep hoping people will notice my decks on here one day. That "Northy" guy pretty much dominates the front page with his budget stuff—so it's basically just me making decks for fun.

First of all the same is true for me, I'm from Slovakia and have 0 ppl to play with, cept' maybe 3 of my friends who I play with from time to time but that's some REALLY causal magic.
Secondly I feel the need to point out the fact that most of Northern Warlord's decks are just casual pieces of thrash that can and will be beaten with an intro pack, no budget decks. Even through I think that is blatantly obious.

I definitely enjoy making playable, interesting decks—for sure. If you look through some of my older decks, I'm sure you'd find some good ones you'd like in there.

Pretty sweet deck man! Any room for bloodghasts? You have so many sac outlets that I think it's worth it (plus he's a vampire so it works with kalastria). I noticed no sideboard. But since you have access to white, you have answers for everything. Your opponent will most likely bring in graveyard hate so I would definitely bring in artifact and enchantment hate. Most efficient card for that is disenchant since it hits both artifacts and enchantments. Good luck! +1!

yeah, really op with 2-toughness sacrifices, otherwise a no exactly good idea(0-toughness creatures die before they enter the battlefield)

Nice! I have a similar deck, but more geared towards humans. Depending on how 'cutthroat' your playgroup really is, you could also consider grave pact/dictate of erebos, grave betrayal,... If you need more one-drops, champion of the parish and bloodsoaked champion are great. Grim harusphex and Xathrid Necromancer are also great. And Cartel aristocrat is a great sac engine it you need it.

I consider that I've done a good job on a deck when I get one like. Made one like this called Drain Blood. Got inspired by Rallys and rogue deckbuilder. I like your version with the max 2 mana. I couldn't not use geralf's messenger though. Are you on mtgo? i'm MDStrawHatX on there would like to challenge this deck. Never considered perilous myr. I use Athreos and sac which can return all cards to hand which is better than them getting exiled.

This deck is screaming for kitchen finks.

Also Suture priest might be ok. Maybe not. (bonus: gives you a really good splinter twin hate card in MB, which surmises anywhere between 15-30% of modern's meta, depending on what else is going on in the format)

and um maybe path to exile bc that's always good. or maybe darkblast because it fuels your graveyard and is recursive.

Yeah when I read the deck name I assumed you would be running kitchen finks.

So I think people are forgetting... what happens whenever you run out of gas and no longer have cards in your hand because you played everything by turn 4 or so. I would recommend taking away a few of the creatures and adding things like Murderous Cut (your graveyard will fill up fast for it), tragic slips, even Altar's Reap (for the sac engine and the draw power). You need a way to fill your hand back up or have cards that you just hold in your hand for whenever the opponent plays a creature you cannot handle, you can kill or exile (oblivion ring). Just my opinion. Great idea though! I'm attempting on making a Cutthroat deck in standard right now. Torn between B/W/G, B/G, or B/W/R (maybe even B/R and go more of an aggro route)

Noticed you had Blood Scrivener for that draw power, but still think there should be more things in this deck to help make sure you are able to get that draw power. They can kill Blood Scrivener before you even have a chance to use his ability

I would be most appreciated. I will provide one link to a deck, but please feel free to look at my others! I don't mind if you don't. but it would be nice to have some help on my decks.

2 Vault of the Archangel instead of Windbrisk Heights and one Shambling Vent would be my suggestion. You have a lot of creatures, I don't think the Shambling Vent is that important. Put your extra mana into making all of your creatures lifelink and deathtouch instead of just one 2/3 lifelink....

Bloodflow Connoisseur is better then bloodthrone vampire. Other than that, great deck!

Honestly not a bad idea for a deck, but if you're going to get full value from rally in a timely manner you may want some form of self mill...
This could come from either a blue or green splash.
On top of that disruption always helps so you don't just fold to combo or control.
Going blue would also give you phantasmal image which can act as blood artist 9-12

Just some thoughts.
