Deck Description

U/W Venser control with new Innistrad cards taken into consideration.

Divine Reckoning-Slightly worse DoJ with Flashback. very nice, and it lets us keep Stonehorn/Bombs on the field.

2xInvisible Stalker-Huge Candidate for Swords.

2xMindshrieker-Another Huge Candidate for Swords/Good on its own.

2xSnapcaster Mage-Reusable counterspells, reusable day of judgments, what's not to like?

Possible Candidates:

Silent Departure-Flashback unsummon, very nice.

Fiend Hunter-With Venser it lets us pick and choose what we want to exile at the time.

Anyhow, here comes the choice list.

FaF-Obvious why its in here. Allows you to clog up the board, anti-removal, keeps you free for countermagic.
Metamorph-Goes well with Venser/Incredibly Versatile. Opponent is clogging up the board with Grave Titan zombies? Copy it, bounce it. Now you're up 2 zombies.
Hero of Bladehold-A fine finishing move.
Mirran Crusader-Another fine candidate for swords, wins games.
Stonehorn Dignitary-A controversial choice, but if pulled with Venser lets you stall out/beat down without fear as you start exiling their board.
Sun Titan-Brings back Swords, Mirran Crusader, Shrieker, Snapcaster Mage, Stalker, and lands.
Elspeth Tirel-Controversial choice, not sure if its the best decision. However, its yet another card that combos disgustingly well with Venser. -2, bounce, back to 4 loyalty counters and Venser's up 2.
Gideon Jura-Always solid. Hero of Bladehold +2 again, wins games.
Disperse-Slightly worse into the roil.
Probe-Only one room for a draw spell here, and I like it better than ponder. 0 mana draw spell that lets you know exactly what to counter/prepare for? Better than digging in my opinion.
Dismember-Doy.
DoJ-Synergizes incredibly with all of our walkers, clearly, made 10x better with Snapcaster Mage.
Mana Leak-Doy

Don't have a Sideboard currently. Suggestions are welcome, just tossing ideas about.

Deck discussion for Venser Control/Blade Post-rotation

Great synergies and I'm always a fan of venser decks. I think 4 probes is a little overkill, that and they dont help shuffle the deck. I'd go 2 ponder/probe. I'll help playtest this deck once things rotate.

Sidenote: karn did very well for me in u/b control. I may use him over elspeth because of his spot removal.

I haven't seen a lot of spoilers, but mindshrieker is going to be the next cawblade.

I feel Elspeth isn't necessary, and I agree with bdubcontrol, I think Karn is better than Elspeth. I also feel that you should run at least 3 Oblivion Rings if you're running any disperses, mostly because of the permanent exile combo, and Oblivion Rings always work with Venser. 2 Dismembers can be dropped for the O-rings and maybe more days would be good. Sideboarding Mirran Crusaders can be a good idea as well. I say to drop that Divine Reckoning, since you can Blink Stonehorn/Whatever and DoJ, then it returns to the field anyway. If you have troubles thinking up a sideboard, just ask.
