Why do you use creatures with a negative ability to return them? Discard a card from our hand is not the way to go each round. Try using Imaginary Pet. It returns to your hand during your upkeep, if you have a card in hand. And its a 4/4, and only cost 2 mana! Check out my deck with Equilibrium. I will rate this deck cause it gave me some new ides. Screeching Drake is also good for equilibrium. It's 1 mana, when it comes into play return a creature you control to your hand. And yes, it can return itself to your hand.
Screeching Drake? Look it up. "When SD comes into play draw a card, then choose to discard a card." Combo with Equilibrium?
My Bad, shrieking drake. haha.
I actually use those particular creatures because there are not very many creatures in the deck. Being able to return them to my hand whenever I choose allows me to protect them from burn or creature removal. By the time I am using that ability, I am normally discarding cards that are already in play (like a multiple of my Equilibrium for example)
Gilded Drake with Equilibrium. Tap 3 take a creature and Drake bounces back to your hand. Tap 3 again, repeat.

Also Timid Drake is a 3/3 flier for 2U that returns to your hand whenever a creature is played
