I thought it was weird that she came up as well so I picked her up hoping that I would be able to use her. Unfortunately, I was already pretty committed to the red goblin thing by the time I got her so I ended up not putting her in the deck anyway.

Unfortunately I didn't get to play this deck... I did it from the booster simulator on the MTG website. I agree that there are not too many lands in there, but I figured that with 2/3 of the deck being 1 or 2 casting cost, the odds of having mana trouble is pretty slim. If I did get into trouble, it would probably be the 2 Walls of Fire that would get the axe. I actually use those particular creatures because there are not very many creatures in the deck. Being able to return them to my hand whenever I choose allows me to protect them from burn or creature removal. By the time I am using that ability, I am normally discarding cards that are already in play (like a multiple of my Equilibrium for example)
