Deck Description

Super Midrange concept for type 2. Looking to utilize some of the best standard has to offer with casting cost lowered by Heartless Summoning and Crypt Ghast. Loads of removal with a dap of mana fix.

How to Play

Using Heartless Summoning is the way to go, even if it means risking two mulls just to have one in hand. HS isn't the only way to win, but it creates a situation where you drop a Slime and bomb a land turn 3, or gain 5 life, or swing for 4, or give two creatures +4/+4. Conjurer's Closet just makes some of these guys silly. Either way, should you have some of the more affordable creatures in hand or Heartless Summoning, you have the tools and creatures to pound your opponent into scooping.

you need something to start your combo, something that allows you to sacrifice a creature to have the undying kick in and have them return from the graveyard such as a bloodthrone vampire.

True, maybe something larger, which forces you to sac then dies itself from heartless summoning but then you gain life and draw cards......Disciple of Bolas....boom.

Anything else, I'm up for any suggestion to improve either main or side.

I would main deck Disciple of Bolas to kickstart your combo. Take out ...something (freaking everything in here is geared towards death for your opponents!). Take a hard look at Malignus. He's very useful as your first undying/grave pull if you have flayer out, but as your opponent loses life, he becomes increasingly useless.

Malignus is first out when I board bolas in. Bolas is SB fodder though...I don't want to depend on combo driving the deck.
